RECIPE PREPARATION Pomegranate with beef salad:

The meat is boiled together with the cleaned vegetables and boiled well, then removed from the soup and left to cool.

When they have cooled, finely chop them into cubes.

Boil eggs, cool and then cut into small pieces.

Do the same with cucumbers.

We also boil the potatoes and peas. After they are penetrated, the potatoes are left to cool a little, then they are also cut into small pieces and added to the rest of the composition where we added the finely chopped meat and the boiled peas.


From a raw yolk and a boiled one plus a teaspoon of mustard, we make mayonnaise, gradually adding the oil.

Peel a squash, grate it and put the seeds in a bowl.

Mix vegetables, meat and eggs with mayonnaise (less than 2-3 tablespoons) and pomegranate seeds, leaving aside a few for garnish.

Season and add lemon juice if necessary.

Garnish the salad with the remaining mayonnaise and pomegranate seeds.

I don't miss the cheeses in the fridge, I have to admit that I like them, so I always have 6-7 varieties from which I can prepare quick appetizers or any other dishes that contain them at any time.
Today I decided to surprise you with one of the fastest and tastiest appetizers.

It is a mixture of three Delaco cheeses, crunchy nuts, all seasoned with sage, salt and pepper, presented in spheres covered in crispy and juicy pomegranate beans.
The cheese spheres can be prepared even the day before, stored in the refrigerator wrapped in cling film and can be wrapped in pomegranate seeds shortly before being served.
This type of appetizer can be served with savory biscuits, toast but also slices of apples, pears or other fruit combinations.
I recommend you try it, it is delicious and definitely appreciated by those who will taste it !!

Appetizer with cheese and pomegranate - Ingredients

140 g cream cheese fluffy with sour cream - Delaco
180 g cream cheese with sour cream - Grace
50 g cheddar
100 g chopped walnuts
3-4 fresh sage leaves
30 g butter
salt
pepper
pomegranate seeds
salted biscuits
fruit of choice

Appetizer with cheese and pomegranate - Preparation

Melt the butter in a pan. Add the sage leaves and keep on a moderate heat until the leaves become crispy and the butter turns brown. Remove on a paper towel and allow to cool.

Put the cream cheese in a bowl, add the grated cheddar cheese, chopped walnuts, sage leaves, chilled butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything with a spoon or a mixer until the composition becomes homogeneous.

It is divided into two parts, placed on cling film and given the shape of a sphere. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes then dress in pomegranate seeds.
They can be served with savory biscuits, toast but also slices of fruit of your choice.


Quick salad with walnuts, pomegranate and apple

For a quick dinner, I recommend a super simple salad recipe with walnuts, pomegranates and apples.

It is a simple recipe, but very fragrant and very filling. You can consume it as such or as an appetizer, if you do not think you will be full. I say that there is no need for anything else, given how full the nuts are, but it depends on taste and habit.

When I was little I wouldn't have thought that fruits fit in a salad, but today it seems to me that they fit perfectly in this combination, suitable for any meal.

Ingredient:

green leaf mix (I used arugula and baby spinach)

2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds

2 tablespoons Romanian walnuts

Method of preparation:

Wash the green leaves and cover them with a paper towel to remove excess water.

Arrange the leaves in a bowl or on a plate and sprinkle over the pomegranate seeds, chopped walnuts, crushed goat cheese and apple slices.

Pour over the prepared and favorite dressing. I used a simple vinaigrette made of olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and a little honey. Is the salad fast or not?

Beef salad with pork meat

The pork leg, cut into pieces like a steak, is scalded in salted water. After 2 minutes, remove from hot water and wash with cold water. Put it back to boil, in cold water with thyme, bay leaves and peppercorns. Leave to boil for approx. 2 h, on low heat.

All the vegetables are cut into cubes of the same size and each vegetable is boiled separately in its salted water. Cool and refrigerate. Make a mayonnaise from two eggs and leave it to cool.

Cut the pork into cubes, the same size as the vegetables, and mix in a bowl with mayonnaise and all the chopped vegetables, except the beets. Beets are added at the end, on top so as not to color everything.

Very important: The ingredients must be boiled in salted water and combined cold.

Tip: Vegetables no longer taste if they are cooked in water without salt, and if we mix them with mayonnaise it will spoil and soften. Good appetite!

Hummus and tomato salad with pomegranates, quick, simple and healthy recipe, good for the lunch pack to take to work. The salad is inspired by tabbouleh, but it's not really tabbouleh, because I didn't use bulgur wheat.

Ingredients for the hummus and tomato salad with pomegranate recipe

  • For hummus:

  • 2 teaspoons tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic paste, or a few cloves of garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • For the salad:
  • 200 g tomatoes (I used cherry tomatoes)
  • A bunch of parsley
  • A handful of fresh mint
  • Seeds from 1 pomegranate
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate concentrate (pomegranate molasses)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice or lime (I prefer green)
  • For serving: fresh glues, I like those with wholemeal flour

The potatoes are washed, cleaned and boiled in salted water.


Boil the roots separately, after they have been washed and cleaned. After all the vegetables have boiled, leave them to cool and cut them into cubes. I had the beets in the jar ready cut into cubes, so I just left about 200g to drain.


I cut the mortadella into pieces - you can also use chicken breast or lean ham. Mix all the ingredients with mayonnaise and season - I used the grinder with Italian greens. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. On a plate arrange lettuce leaves, washed and wiped, place a glass upside down and put the composition of the salad around it. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and beets. When the "cake" is ready, carefully remove the glass. It would have taken two pomegranates to garnish, but I managed with the beets.

Although beef salad is normally made with beef, as the name suggests, everyone puts what he has or what he likes: chicken, turkey, pork, the salad will be just as tasty.
