Recipe White chocolate tile by of 27-06-2011 [Updated on 29-08-2018]
Last week I improvised an ice cream tile with a white chocolate and whipped cream without using raw eggs, really delicious to take it to a friend's house. I must say that we liked it a lot, I had to work hard to prepare a nice fresh ice cream cake that even the "pregnant" can eat and in the end this was the good result. My weekends at the beach are over for now, but I must say they were very relaxing, a real cure-all. How to make the white chocolate tile
Prepare the cocoa biscuit dough
Beat the eggs with the sugar until they double in volume
Mix the flour with the cocoa and add it to the dough
Finally add the milk with the dissolved yeast inside.
Pour the cooked biscuit dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Level the dough as much as possible then bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees and bake for 8/10 minutes
Turn the cocoa biscuit dough upside down on a surface covered with parchment paper, then gently remove the formed paper from the base
Allow to cool completely before cutting into 3 horizontal strips
Meanwhile, prepare the white chocolate and whipped cream
Prepare a chocolate ganache by heating 100 ml of cream in a thick-bottomed saucepan. When the cream is boiling, add the chopped white chocolate.
Turn off the heat and stir with a wooden spoon until the chocolate melts completely.
When the ganache is completely cold, whip the remaining cream and pour the mixture into it.
Gently mix the cream with a wooden spoon, taking care to make movements from the bottom upwards so as not to disassemble the cream
Line a loaf pan with cling film and place the first rectangle of biscuit dough on the bottom. Cover with a layer of white chocolate cream
Place another rectangle of biscuit dough and continue thus alternating a layer of white chocolate cream and cream and one of biscuit dough.
Finish with the cream, press lightly on the cake and place the chocolate block in the freezer for 3 hours
Take back the white chocolate tile, turn it upside down on a serving dish, remove the cling film and bring to the table.
