Recipe Tartine with salmon mousse by of 31-12-2013 [Updated on 06-06-2017]

Salmon canapes are the most classic New Year's appetizer, this year I propose them instead of a veil of butter and a slice of smoked salmon on the surface, with a delicate salmon mousse enriched with pink peppercorns. If you are looking for a last minute New Year's Eve appetizer to take to friends' homes or to start the dinner in a scenographic way with your family, the recipe for canapes with salmon mousse could be for you. With today's recipe I also leave you my best wishes for the new year, hoping it will be nice at least half of what we are leaving behind, kiss those who pass by here and we will read next year;)

How to make canapes with salmon mousse

Put the salmon, cheese, butter, lemon juice and pepper in a blender

Blend everything until you get a homogeneous mousse

Take the slices of bread for sandwiches and put them in a pan with a knob of butter to toast them on one side only

With a cookie cutter, make some bread stars or cut each slice into squares

Spread the salmon mousse on the side of untoasted bread and garnish the Canapes with salmon mousse with pink peppercorns or chives and serve
